Looking for a way to save water and money?

The city of Chaska and the Carver County Water Management Organization have created a new Chaska Irrigation Efficiency Program. Chaska residents who meet the eligibility requirements can save over $150 on a Rachio Gen 3 8-zone smart sprinkler controller.

Smart controllers connect to your home Wi-Fi and read local weather reports and forecasts to decide whether your lawn needs additional water. The device can be controlled by your smartphone, computer, or smart home device.

This program is designed to conserve groundwater, prevent water runoff, and help residents save money. It is funded by a Metropolitan Council grant and also supported by the Clean Water Land & Legacy Amendment.
